Mandatory metrics

1. Published institutional AI policy or principlesPartially found

AI usage rules are scattered: Computing Division and Privacy Officer guidelines for staff; section 8.6.4 of the teaching procedures for students; a default clause in syllabi

Body: Computing, Communications and Information Division; Student Administration Division

Document date: 12.1.2026 (Computing Division guidelines); Teaching and Studies Procedures, 2025/26

Verified manually in a browser 29.9.2026, after the university website came back online at its new address (new.huji.ac.il). There is no single university-wide AI policy document. The rules are scattered across three places: the Privacy Officer's guidelines for staff (what must not be entered), a disclosure requirement for students in the teaching procedures, and a default clause in syllabi (AI use in assignments is prohibited unless the lecturer approves). The university management's letter (27.7.2026) states that "formulating usage-policy and preparedness recommendations" is one of the AI project's goals. Partial: rules exist, a written policy does not yet.

The same document also serves metric 6, 10.
